Cleaning the fleetApparatus
All the apparatus in our active fleet are vehicles that have been refurbished or constructed by the membership with the exception of our new Kenworth/Pierce Contender and a new pumper/tanker that is coming by March 2011. With the members of RMES having many skills relating to vehicles and specifically those in the fire service, this method of acquiring new apparatus saves the town a phenomenal amount of money over the cost of new vehicles, and provides fully certified fire apparatus designed to the department's exact specifications.
