The fire, which started in the vicinity of the kitchen, consumed the interior of the building, and burned stubbornly for several hours.

Despite the stiff winds that morning (blowing at the backs of these firefighters, causing their foam stream to behave in unpredictable ways), no other property loss or casualties were reported. |
