The Redwood Meadows Firefighters' Association (RMFA) is the fundraising entity for the Redwood Meadows Emergency Services (RMES).

The RMFA operates independently from the RMES. It has its own volunteers and board of directors and functions in the capacity of a not-for-profit society and is as such registered with the Canada Revenue Agency under number 847616745 RR 0001 since January 24, 2005.

The RMFA is active in the community and holds annual recurring events, like pancake breakfasts, heroes in the sky, a ball, etc., etc.

Donations can be made via Interac e-Transfer: donations@firefightersassociation.ca or via ATB Cares (opens in a new windows) (fees will be charged by ATB for using this service). Funds donated will go back to the RMES in various forms.

A tax receipt is issued automatically via ATB cares. A tax receipt can also be issued for donations done via Interac E-Transfer. Please add your name, address and email address in the comments field with subject Tax Receipt and one will be issued to you.

In the past the RMFA has raised funds and (partially) paid for: The Events And Response Logistics trailer and its full contents, the Rescue Truck, The 6x6 UTV and trailer, dry suits, Lifepak Cardiac Monitor, Fitness equipment, CPR practice equipment, Bullex Digital Fire Simulator, and many other items.

Any questions can be directed to board@firefightersassociation.ca
