The first three quarters of 2014 are done. Where has the time disappeared to? Here are our stats to date:

  • 316 calls: 139 medical, 97 rescue, 47 fire, 15 hazmat, 18 other (floods, public hazards, and so on).
  • 38 calls in Redwood Meadows, 42 in Bragg Creek, 128 in Rockyview, 31 in Tsuu T'ina, 10 in Foothills, 51 in Kananaskis, the rest in other areas.
  • Busiest truck as always 120 Rescue (212) followed by 120 Rapid Response (110), 120 Engine (54).
  • Of our fire calls: 22 alarms, 12 structure fires, 11 basic investigations, 6 aircraft incidents, 5 grass fires, 1 vehicle fire.
  • Busiest medical type other than traffic collision: Traumatic Injuries (26). Falls (16), chest pain (12), and breathing problems (9) next.
  • Busiest days of week: Saturday (58), Sunday (50), Monday (49).
  • Busiest hour of day: 3-4pm (23), 4-5pm (22). Quietest? 2am-3am (3).
