RMES traditionally leads the annual Canaday Day bike parade in Redwood Meadows on July first. As always it was a fun bike ride through the community with lots of participants and onlookers.

After the parade our members were present to show community members our trucks that were set up at the big park. We also demonstrated the new tiger berms purchased by the Town Site for its emergency prepardness, while the kids could take a refreshing dip in the pool we made.

Members of the Firefighters Assosiation were also on hands to raise funds with their barbecue food sales.

In the evening our members attended the fireworks show, both to enjoy the beautiful fireworks as well as to make sure everyone stayed safe.
