Alberta Wildfire is currently on scene of a 5 hectare fire south of Bragg Creek in the south end of the McLean Creek area. The fire is in a cut block with heavy slash content and this is why there is a lot of smoke being generated by this fire. The fire, while listed as out of control on the Alberta Wildfire app, is not threatening any homes or communities at this time. Campers in the area need to be aware of the fire and the public is asked not to go into the area. Please follow all directions from emergency personnel.

Up to date information is available on the Alberta Wilde Fire site: http://wildfire.alberta.ca/wildfire-status/status-map.aspx
