The Townsite is encouraging property owners to protect themselves from wildfire by adopting FireSmart activities at home, such as clearing dead or combustible vegetation, and implementing wildfire-resilient landscaping.

We have added a yard waste bin to the Townsite parking area and will continue to replace the bin over the next few weeks. Please NO PLASTIC in the bin and branches should be placed in the bock area so that they can be chipped at a later date. Please see the attachment or visit https://firesmartcanada.ca/ for more tips.

If you would like to take advantage of the free property assessment, please return the attached form to admin@redwoodmeadows.ab.ca

Please FireSmart your yards only to the property line. The Golf Course maintains their own FireSmart program.
